Fans abuzz as boxing returns to the Dominican capital

Santo Domingo.- Expectation reigns among Dominican Republic’s boxing fans with the announced  professional boxing card on July 26 at the Hotel Jaragua’s Salon La Fiesta, where the main attraction pits Mexican Carlos Molina and Dominican Carlos Adames.

Bout organizer Upper Promotions president Jorge Herasme, said various personalities from various sectors have shown an interest in attending the boxing event.

He added that some companies and government agencies, including the National Lottery and the Tourism Ministry are willing to support the boxing match, a sport long absent from national arenas.
