Dominicans make it to Caribbean Series final

Santo Domingo.- The Cibao Gigantes advanced to the Caribbean Series final on Wednesday night by beating the Mexican Charros de Jalisco 2-1 in the closing match of the semifinal at Quisqueya Park.

Left-hander Tyler Alexander pitched a perfect game until the top of the ninth and an opportune Moises Sierra drove in both runs to lead the Dominican victory.
