US to support Dominican Republic hotels switch to “green” energy

Santo Domingo.- The United States EnergyDepartment Office of International Affairs is planning to develop pilotprojects with hotels in the country that wish to change to alternative energysources.

Department director Gary Ward announced the program during hisparticipation at the American Chamber of Commerce monthly luncheon event,adding that they would also be providing technical support.
