Newest Dominican port to receive second cruise in just 8 days

Puerto Plata.- The AmberCove cruise terminal at Maimon bay will receive early Thursday the cruise shipCarnival Fantasy, the second shit to arrive in Puerto Plata, just eight daysafter its soft opening.

Local media reportthat the Carnival Fantasy will arrive early Thursday with some 2, 675passengers and a crew of 920 on board.

The around 261 foot shipwith 10 decks will dock in Amber Cove from 8am to 4pm, propelled by engines whichcan push to 21 knots (39 kph, or 24mph).
