Top senator wants Santo Domingo Tourism Cluster to create jobs

Santo Domingo.- Senator and ruling party (PLD) candidate CristinaLizardo on Tuesday pledged support toimplement the Santo Domingo Tourism Cluster to market the province’s image as ajoint destination and contribute to create jobs.

Stumping in various barrios of the municipality Santo DomingoNorte including the sprawling Villa Mella subdivision, Lizardo was greeted by throngsof community residents.

The president of the Senate urged voters to reelect presidentDanilo Medina and promised to continue working to develop government projects forprovince Santo Domingo province.

"We must be a model of complementary action and coordinatejoint operations to seize upon the investment effort and boost the territory, promotingan economic impact that benefits Greater Santo Domingo," the lawmaker said.
