US, Canadian pilots choose Puerto Plata’s Airport for Fly-In

Santo Domingo.-  Several pilots from the United States and Canada chose Puerto Plata’s Luperón International Airport  to start the Fly-In of the Caribbean International Rally, Governor’s Cup 2019, coordinated by organization president, Catherine Tobenas.

Already a tradition, the Airport Department together with the Dominican Civil Aviation Institute and the Tourism Ministry welcomed the pilots, who will stay in Dominican territory for 3 nights, before returning to the US.

The Fly-In of international projection also visits the Dominican Republic along with four other destinations in the Caribbean.

It’s is the first time that a helicopter participates in this type of event, with the arrival of a BELL 206LR JET A.
