Cap Cana welcomes 7 Mares Tower

Cap Cana.- Today the grand inauguration of the 7 Mares tower took place in the renowned destination city of Cap Cana, featuring a formal ceremony attended by the Dominican Republic’s President, Luis Abinader, and the Minister of Tourism, David Collado.

7 Mares marks a significant milestone for the tourist hub of Cap Cana, Punta Cana, Bávaro, and the surrounding areas, being the inaugural structure in a larger development project. Comprising 15 levels, the tower boasts 64 luxury apartments with breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea, the forthcoming Las Iguanas golf course currently under construction, and other stunning locales within the destination city.

The construction of this architectural marvel was spearheaded by the esteemed firm Logroval, which also played a pivotal role as a partner in its promotion. The project garnered support from various international investors, with the notable leadership of Engineer Mariano Sanz.

Expressing gratitude in his opening remarks, Engineer Sanz extended appreciation to his partners, including Cap Cana, the Hazoury Family (tower owners), and all contributors, both direct and indirect, who played a role in bringing this significant project to fruition.

Eng. Sanz emphasized the global appeal of 7 Mares, noting that clients from around the world, representing approximately nine different nationalities, have invested in the project. This underscores the contemporary importance of real estate tourism.

Fernando Hazoury, President of the Board of Directors of Cap Cana, took the stage to acknowledge the developers and co-developers who chose Cap Cana for their investments, fostering growth. He highlighted the strategic alliances formed with leading national and international companies, contributing prestige to the country. Hazoury pledged ongoing efforts to safeguard and enhance investments, assets, and collective efforts within the destination city.

Addressing the need for corporate governance, Hazoury spoke about the implementation of good governance practices. He emphasized the importance of institutionalization in modern governance, incorporating experienced international professionals into the board of directors. This move, he believes, will benefit the Dominican Republic, current and future investors, and all partners and allies associated with the destination city.

Hazoury expressed confidence that this approach to governance, with its focus on professionalism, capacity, experience, and independent decision-making, will yield significant benefits. Acknowledging that this is just the beginning, he envisions this effort as the cornerstone for ensuring the positive continuity and excellent management of the destination city for decades to come.

Should never have gotten off the ground. An illegal project…but you know how money and politics work hand in hand. Now we have to deal with that huge pile of blocks beside Hard Rock. Sad what we are becoming. No plan…no support…just build what you want…where you want.
