Dominican is mayor of Lawrence, Mass.

Lawrence, Massachusetts.- Dominican Brian DePeña was pronounced winner in the mayoral elections of Lawrence, Massachusetts on Tue.

The Dominican was chosen in the primaries of September 22 against 4 other candidates, among which was the also Dominican Kendrys Vasquez.

In proclaiming himself the winner, De Peña thanked his wife, family and voters for the achievement. He then set out for a tour of Lawrence City Hall.
