President Abinader meets with Michael Bloomberg

New York.- On Monday, President Luis Abinader met with Michael Bloomberg, founder of Bloomberg LP, at the company’s headquarters in New York City. Their 40-minute meeting covered a range of topics of general interest.

President Abinader has been in New York for several days, carrying out a busy agenda. Among his activities was a ceremony recognizing 21 Dominicans for their contributions to their communities in the U.S., which highlighted the pride and positive image of the Dominican Republic.

He also presided over the global premiere of the first Dominican historical animated series, Los Trinitarios, and announced the launch of RTVD Internacional, “La señal de la Patria.” Additionally, the official presentation of the open skies treaty between the Dominican Republic and the United States took place at the Juan Pablo Duarte School in Washington Heights. President Abinader is expected to return to the Dominican Republic on Thursday.
