President Abinader begins second term with ceremony at National Theater

Santo Domingo.- In a solemn ceremony, the raising of the National Flag in front of the National Theater marked the start of the official inauguration events for President Luis Abinader as he begins his second term today.

Military personnel marched down Máximo Gómez Avenue to the National Theater, where the formal proceedings took place. This year’s inauguration at the National Theater represents a significant departure from the traditional venues used in previous ceremonies.

Re-elected last May, President Abinader has pledged to continue his efforts toward the country’s development and stability. As he begins his second term, there is widespread public anticipation for the further advancement of the initiatives he launched during his first administration.
