Man with extensive criminal history is injured in confrontation with police in La Romana

Villa Verde – A delinquent was shot and wounded after confronting a patrol of the Eastern Regional Investigation Sub-Directorate (Dicrim) in the Villa Verde sector, reported the Eastern Regional Directorate of the National Police on Saturday.

The suspect was Leybinson Inirio de Jesus, alias “Bladi Javilla,” 28 years old, transiting on a Pasola with Estarlin Rijo, alias “El Gordo,” 31 years old, and a suspected criminal.

According to the report, “Bladi Javilla” was wounded in the left ankle when he tried to shoot at the agents with a Smith & Wesson.38 caliber revolver, whose numbering was not legible.
