Cuban, DR officials agree to protect the environment with a regional focus

Santo Domingo.- The Environment Ministry and Cuba’s vice-ministry of Science, Technology and Environment on Wed. agreed to cooperate for the protection of the environment with a regional focus.

Environment minister Ángel Estévez, and Cuban official Fernando González formalized the pact in the presence of Cuban ambassador Milagros Carina Soto.

The agreement also aims to strengthen relations, exchange and connectivity between both countries and their respective ministries, as has been done in recent years.
