Scattered showers continue, calm seas return

Santo Domingo.- The National Meteorology Office (Onamet) forecasts continued showers Monday afternoon and early evening for the Northeast, Southeast, Southwest, Central Mountains and border area, but ot as intense and frequent as the weekend.

It said the trough located over the northwest and the prevailing east-southeast wind will maintain humidity over the territory, with some rainfall during the next 24 to 36 hours.

Onamet adds that the sea conditions are optimal for sports activities, with all restrictions lifted on all coasts.
