Two gunmen kill ex guerrilla’s son (Correct)

Santo Domingo.- The son of the ex guerrilla Claudio Caamaño Grullón was a shot while in a colmado with a friend in Pizarrete, Baní (south), and died on the scene near midnight Sunday.

Francisco Antonio Caamaño Vélez, 26, whose body was taken to coroner in Azua for autopsy, will be taken for funeral services in Santo Domingo, starting Monday noon.

Baní National Police Headquarters identified the gunmen only as “Cocho” and “Pitaka,” who are on the loose.

It said Maikel Miguel Valdez, 23, who accompanied Caamaño during the incident, is being held for questioning.
