Judge tightens noose around Arab-American businessman, but no jail

Santo Domingo.- National District 2nd Instruction Court judge Natividad de los Santos ruled against the a plaintiff’s request to incarcerate Arab-American businessman Karim Abu Naba’a, charged with making death threats.

The judge ruled against the request to incarcerate Abu as unnecessary, as the plaintiff and attorney Gustavo Mejia Ricart charged.

De los Santos however, ruled that Abu will now have to surrender all his passports in court and report regularly to the National District Office of the Prosecutor every 15 days.
