Santo Domingo.- Judge Deiby Timoteo Peguero, of the Seventh Investigating Court of the National District, postponed for the seventh time the trial of the evidence that follows those involved in the corruption network dismantled through the Anti-Octopus Operation and headed by two brothers of former President Danilo Medina, Alexis and Magaly.

Peguero postponed the hearing for next October 10, at 9:00 in the morning, by accepting a request from the lawyers of the accused Francisco Pagán Rodríguez, who did not attend the hearing because he was affected by coronavirus.

Pagán’s defense submitted medical certificates stating that his defendant has COVID-19, for which he was unable to attend the hearing.
