Antinarcotics agents arrest three in Nagua, seize 5 packs of cocaine

Santo Domingo.– Antinarcotics agents in Nagua arrested yesterday three men aboard a van carrying five packs presumably cocaine, which was hidden inside a black bundle, according to the National Antinarcotics Agency (DNCD).

Two of the men live in the Puerto Plata province and the other is from Samana. The agents stopped the van on the Sanchez-Nagua road, specifically in Los Mangos sector, in the Maria Trinidad Sánchez province.

The DNCD continues with investigations to determine other possible complicity in connection with the case. The three men will be submitted and identified in the next few hours. The five packages have been sentfor forensic testing.
