Scattered showers, flash flood warnings for east, south regions

Santo Domingo. – The National Meteorology Office (Onamet) forecasts scattered showers and thunderstorms over the Southwest, Southeast, Northeast, Northwest, Central Mountains and border zone for Wednesday, from a tropical wave near Haiti.

It said the showers will decrease tomorrow Thursday, except those over the Northeast, Southeast and Central Mountains.

Onamet adds that it continues its flash flood and landslide warnings for residents in low-lying areas of the eastern and southern provinces.
