COPPPAL willing to mediate in PRD crisis

Santo Domingo.– The president of the the permanent conference of Latin American political parties (COPPPAL), Mexican Gustavo Carvajal Moreno, revealed yesterday that the entity is willing to mediate in the Dominican Revolutionary Party (PRD).

"We came to raise any support of good will to achieve unity within the PRD," Carvajal said at a press conference held by the PRD president Miguel Vargas Maldonado.

Carvajal Moreno is also planning to meet with former president Hipolito Mejia and other PRD leaders as a way to help find a solution to the internal crisis in the opposition party.
