Scattered showers, high temps continue

Santo Domingo. – The National Meteorology Office (Onamet) forecasts scattered showers and thunderstorms for the North, Northeast, Southeast, Northwest, Central Mountains and border area, from a tropical wave and a cloud mass over the Windward Passage.

It said the high temperatures will continue nationwide, and recommends drinking plenty of fluids.

Onamet said the scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to continue for the next 24 hours, mostly in the afternoon.
