Scattered showers, high waves in the north and increasing cloudiness

Santo Domingo.- A low pressure system over the Mona Pass associated with Tropical Storm Sean, together with local effects will bring scattered and sometimes heavy showers with thunderstorms in the afternoon and early evening to the country’s East, Southeast and Central, sky with increasing but occasional cloudiness to other regions.

The National Meteorology Office (Onamet) cautions small craft to operate close to the Atlantic coast and not venture out to sea on higher than normal waves, with no restrictions in Samaná Bay and the Caribbean coast.
