Medina sends condolences on CEMEX CEO Lorenzo Zambrano’s passing

Santo Domingo.- President Danilo Medina on Tuesday expressed condolences to family members, executives and local and foreign employees of Mexican cement-maker, CEMEX, for the death of its president and CEO, Lorenzo Zambrano, at 70.

In a letter addressed to Cemex Dominicana president Carlos Emilio González, the Head of State stated his and the country’s sorrow and desire for a peaceful final rest to the late Lorenzo Zambrano and comfort to his loved ones.

Zambrano engineered Cemex’s entry into Dominican Republic where it quickly surged to become its biggest cement producer.
