U.S. Embassy in Santo Domingo to change Visa service provider

Santo Domingo.- The U.S. Embassy in Santo Domingo has announced that it will switch its visa service provider on September 23, 2024. As part of this transition, visa applicants will need to attend their Visa Application Center (VAC) appointments at a new location, which will be announced soon.

Key deadlines include:

  • August 30: Last day to make cash payments for visa fees at Banco Popular.
  • September 12: Last day to pay visa fees via credit or debit card on the website.
  • September 13: Deadline to schedule or reschedule appointments and access accounts on ustraveldocs.com.

The new visa service provider will begin operations on September 23. The embassy assures that all existing appointments for nonimmigrant and immigrant visas will remain valid and unchanged, and no further action is required for those with confirmed appointments.

For more information and updates, applicants are encouraged to check the embassy’s official website and other communication channels.
