Jesús “Chu” Vásquez Martínez takes office as Dominican Consul General in New York

New York.- Jesús “Chu” Vásquez Martínez officially assumed the role of Consul General of the Dominican Republic in New York this Sunday.

Vásquez emphasized his dedication to “work tirelessly” for dual nationality for the descendants of Dominicans in the city and entrusted his leadership “to God’s hands.”

During a meeting at the consulate, Vásquez underscored the importance of collaboration and teamwork in providing efficient and beneficial services to the Dominican community. “This consulate is a sacred space to serve our community. With God’s guidance and everyone’s support, we will ensure that every Dominican abroad feels supported and connected to their homeland,” he stated.
