Santo Domingo.- Influencer Luisito Comunica, famous for his global travel adventures, had a rocky start upon arriving in the Dominican Republic. On Wednesday, he was briefly detained for filming inside the Santo Domingo Metro, a violation of local regulations which require permits for such activities.

Despite the incident, Luisito remained positive, stating that his overall experience in the Dominican Republic has been enjoyable. He visited neighborhoods like Gualey, interacting with fans and experiencing the local culture, including merengue music. In a video shared on Instagram, he praised the warmth of the Dominican people.

The Metro incident sparked mixed reactions on social media, with some supporting Luisito and others emphasizing the need to respect local laws. Nonetheless, the influencer assured his followers that the misunderstanding wouldn’t impact his plans to continue exploring and creating content during his stay. He will continue to share updates of his Dominican adventure on his social media platforms.
