Marileidy Paulino aims for third consecutive Diamond League title in Brussels

Santo Domingo.- Dominican sprinter and Olympic champion Marileidy Paulino will aim for her third consecutive Diamond League title today as she competes in the 400-meter final. Local media have been spotlighting the excitement surrounding the 27-year-old athlete, who is poised to further cement her dominance in the event during today’s race in Brussels.

The highly anticipated final is set for 20:04 local time in Brussels and 14:04 in the Dominican Republic, where Paulino has captured the hearts of her fellow citizens and earned the title “queen of the track.”

Paulino, the 2024 Olympic champion in Paris, enters the event undefeated, having secured first place at the twelfth stop of the Diamond League on August 24 in Silesia, Poland.
