Minister Bisonó oversees trade operations at Dajabón binational market

Dajabón.- The Minister of Industry, Commerce, and MSMEs, Víctor “Ito” Bisonó, visited the binational market in Dajabón to oversee trade operations at the border. He confirmed that the market is operating smoothly, with exports continuing as usual. Bisonó emphasized the importance of maintaining security, as instructed by President Luis Abinader, in collaboration with Brigadier General José Hedilberto Rodríguez of Cesfront.

Bisonó mentioned the potential reopening of the bridge between the Dajabón and Juana Méndez markets to improve trade flow. He met with members of the Dajabón Merchants Association to ensure seamless trade and confirmed that around 20,000 people cross the border for commerce on peak days.
