Storm Gordon is being monitored, for now it does not pose any danger to the Dominican Republic

Santo Domingo – The Dominican Institute of Meteorology is monitoring Tropical Storm Gordon, which does not currently pose any danger to the Dominican Republic.

According to the most recent Indomet bulletin, at 7:00 a.m., the phenomenon was located near latitude 20.1 north and longitude 40.9 west, about 1,840 km west/northwest of the Cape Verde Islands.

It is moving toward the west/northwest at about 15 km/h, and it is expected to continue with this motion and then make a further turn to the west/northwest.

It has maximum sustained winds of 75 km/h with higher gusts.

The minimum central pressure was estimated at 1004 millibars.
