Humpback whales’ spectacular return captivates Samaná

Samaná, Dominican Republic.-The humpback whales’ spectacular arrival to the Banco de la Plata or Navidad wildlife refuge captivates visitors as the animals display the joy of any person when returning back home from afar.

The humpbacks (Megaptera novaeangliae) have become the most telling sign of the Caribbean’s marine biodiversity, adding to Samana’s attraction of beach and sun.
