Santo Domingo.-The Industry and Commerce Ministry on Friday posted higher prices up to RD$2.70 per gallon onsome fuels, while natural gas remains unchanged.
For the weekfrom March 5 to 11 premium gasoline will cost RD$178.00, a RD$2.70 increase andregular will cost RD$ 159.00, or RD$1.50 more per gallon.
Optimum dieselwill cost RD$131.10, a RD$2.00 increase; regular diesel will cost RD$119.90, anRD$1.60 increase; avtur will cost RD$80.50, a RD$1.80 jump; kerosene will costRD$101.20, a RD$1.60 increase, and fuel oil will cost RD$60.29, a RD$1.00 increaseper gallon.
Propane gaswill cost RD$82.20, an increase of RD$1.70 per gallon, while natural gas will stillcost RD$23.22 per cubic meter.
The CentralBank’s posted average exchange rate of RD$45.79 per dollar was used to calculateall fuel prices.
