Export strategy aims to attract major global companies

Santo Domingo.- Embassies and consular representatives joinedby the chambers of commerce in the country on Thursday agreed to promote ajoint strategy with the Dominican Republic Export and Investment Center (CEI-RD)to attract major global companies to the First Multisector Export Fair: RDEXPORTA 2016, June 27 to 29 in the Sans Souci Port.

In a press conference CEI-RD executive director Jean A.Rodriguez called it an unprecedented strategy with more than 24 representativesfrom embassies in the country and the Chambers of Commerce “for this grandevent held under the coordination of CEI-RD.”

“The activity had the support of the Government of thePresident of the Republic, Danilo Medina,” the official said.
