India’s new envoy to bolster New Delhi-Santo Domingo ties

Santo Domingo.- India’s new ambassador to Cuba, DominicanRepublic and Haiti on Monday made his first visit to the country after hisrecent appointment.

Tsewang Namgyal and his wife Tsering Lhazes were given areception hosted by Campos de Moya Honorary Consul of India in the DominicanRepublic.

Export and Investment Center (CEI-RD) director Jean AlainRodriguez; India-Dominican Republic Chamber of Commerce members, diplomats and Dominicanbusiness leaders and Foreign Ministry officials participated in the activity.

In a statement, De Moya welcomed the new ambassador, who pledgedto continue working towards strengthening trade and diplomatic ties between NewDelhi and Santo Domingo.
