DGII reports 66,254 million collection in February

Santo Domingo.- In February, the General Directorate of Internal Revenue (DGII) amassed a total of RD$66,254.8 million in collections.

The predominant portion of tax contributions was attributed to RD$17,100.6 million, specifically designated for ITBIS (Value Added Tax), surpassing the previous year’s figure by RD$2,721.7 million and achieving a compliance rate of 103.9 percent.

Simultaneously, the cumulative amount for Corporate Income Tax and Asset Tax reached RD$14,989.8 million, surpassing February 2023 by RD$5,514.8 million and attaining a compliance rate of 131.7 percent.

Following closely is the Personal Income Tax, totaling RD$10,154.4 million, reflecting a surge of RD$1,605.3 million and a compliance rate of 111.0 percent.

The Fuel Selective Tax recorded a collection of RD$6,726.4 million, marking an increase of RD$632.4 million compared to the corresponding month in the previous year.

Collections from Vehicle Inspection Sticker, First License Plate, CO2, and Vehicle Transfer reached a combined total of RD$3,147.4 million, indicating a rise of RD$744.7 million in comparison to the same period last year. Other taxes contributed a sum of RD$14,136.2 million.
