Dominican involved in drug bust in Antigua and Barbuda

St. John’s, Antigua.– Five people, including a Dominican man, are likely to be charged today after they were found with 1.7 million worth of cocaine during a drug bust carried out by Antigua and Barbuda’s Office of National Drug and Money Laundering Control Policy (ONDCP) on Friday.

ONDCP agents seized 50 kilograms of cocaine from the individuals who were all traveling in a vehicle that was intercepted in the McKinnons area, Antiguaobserver.com reported.

According to the outlet, the group includes three Venezuelans, one Antiguan and one person from the Dominican Republic, whose ages range from 24 to 52 years. They will be charged for possession, intent to supply, drug trafficking and other related offenses.
