Alternate routes to Calle Paseo Presidente Billini,

Santo Domingo – The National Institute of Transit and Land Transport (INTRANT) reported this Friday on traffic changes caused by the interconnection works carried out by the Santo Domingo Aqueduct and Sewerage Corporation (CAASD).

Starting Saturday, October 12, at 10:00 a.m., vehicular traffic will be limited on Paseo Presidente Billini Street, specifically in the north lane (east-west direction) near the intersection with Santomé Street.

This closure will affect drivers traveling on this road, who must plan alternate routes to avoid congestion.

The entity also warned drivers of heavy vehicles to use Francisco Alberto Caamaño Deñó Avenue, connecting with Padre Castellanos Avenue.

“It is crucial to take into account the restrictions in force in the Colonial City and in the Restricted Access Zones (ZAR), which limit the transit of these vehicles,” they emphasized.

They recommended that citizens be attentive to the authorities’ warnings and plan their trips to minimize the inconveniences arising from these works, which are part of the effort to improve the city’s infrastructure.
