Miner Falcondo launches fresh water project in Monseñor Noel

Monseñor Noel, Dominican Republic.- The miner Falconbridge Dominicana (Falcondo) recently inaugurated the Public Faucets Project in the community Urbanizacion Falcondo, to continue to secure a quality drinking water system in the towns near the city of Bonao (central).

Falcondo president David Soares said 170 people on average visit the area each day, consuming some 60,000 gallons of water monthly for use in their homes and human consumption.

"For over 40 years the company has provided a permanent water service to benefit the towns. The Public Faucets complex was conceived as Falcondo’s contribution for Monseñor Noel Province residents and visitors,” Soares said, adding the project reaffirms the company’s commitment to community health, water and culture.
