Sky High launches flight between Rhode Island and Santo Domingo
Starting May 15, 2023, Sky High Aviation Services Dominicana will commence flight services from Rhode Island to the José Francisco Peña Gómez International Airport of the Americas (AILA). The company’s commercial director, Cesarina Beauchamp, explained that SkyHigh Dominicana aims to facilitate the access of the Dominican community to various destinations. This time, they will offer a direct flight route between Providence and Santo Domingo, with boardings from the T. F. Green International Airport that will connect with AILA. Beauchamp emphasized that SkyHigh Dominicana’s new initiative will enable residents of Boston, Providence, Lawrence, and other nearby access points to access the Dominican Republic with ease. Due to the Dominican Republic’s excellent geographical location and connectivity facilities, it has become the “Hub of the Caribbean.” As a result, SkyHigh, as an expert airline operating from the connection center, offers substantial advantages to its customers, including the opportunity to travel to multiple destinations, making it the perfect ally when traveling.
In contrast to other airlines, SkyHigh Dominicana will offer luggage-free flight facilities, which is a significant relief for Dominicans who face difficulties traveling from Rhode Island to the Boston Massachusetts airport for over an hour, without knowing when they will arrive at their destination. Initially, SkyHigh Dominicana will operate three weekly flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. However, passengers can already make inquiries, reservations, and purchase tickets through various channels. These include the primary agencies in the area, virtual travel agencies, and the SkyHighDO.com website. Furthermore, SkyHigh Dominicana flights can be booked through 13 direct sales offices located in the destinations where the airline operates, as well as via the website, over 100,000 travel agencies, and others worldwide.
In summary, SkyHigh Dominicana’s new initiative will make it more convenient for residents of Rhode Island and nearby access points to travel to and from the Dominican Republic. With the airline’s focus on facilitating access for the Dominican community to different destinations, the luggage-free flight facilities, and the opportunity to travel to multiple destinations, SkyHigh Dominicana is the ideal choice for hassle-free travel.
This route and airline will make it easier for travel for potential passengers in Rhode Island and Southeastern MA by offering services within reasonable reach of them, rather than making a costly trek to Boston to take flights from there. It will lower their overall cost of travel, surface and air. The route and airline will influence good competition for the Boston market, most likely a lowering of fares and increasing availability of flights. Wish them good luck.
Doesn’t make any sense, you can fly jet blue all day for a cheaper fare and many more flight time options and ways to put you on other airlines should the flight be cancelled. Many ways of public transportation to and from Boston to surrounding communities. I do not see longevity or interest in this airline.
