U.S. approves three Arajet routes under Open Skies Agreement
Santo Domingo.- Following the implementation of the “Open Skies” agreement between the Dominican Republic and the United States, three key routes have been approved for the Dominican airline Arajet. These routes include New York, Miami, and Puerto Rico, marking a milestone after a two-year application process, according to Tourism Minister David Collado.
Collado highlighted that the agreement allows all Dominican airlines to access more U.S. destinations, enhancing competition in the country’s most vital market. President Luis Abinader also announced the completion of the necessary procedures for the agreement, emphasizing its significance for the Dominican aviation sector.
