Murder fugitive among 21 boatpeople returned by the U.S.

Santo Domingo.- Puerto Rico authorities on Monday handed 21 Dominicans over to the Dominican Navy, 24 of which were detained while trying to reach its territory illegally on a yola type boat.

Among the detainees was the fugitive Luis Manaurys Morales wanted by correctional authorizes to serve a 30-year prison sentence, for the murder of Andy Antonio Polanco

Navy spokesman Juan Pablo Sandoval said after Naval Intelligence conducted a background check, Morales was delivered to the National Police Fugitives Dept.
