Mostly sunny, hot weekend

Santo Domingo.- The National Weather Office (Onamet) forecasts low probability of rains across the country today and during the weekend, as the low moisture and the dust from the Sahara limits cloud formation .

It said an approaching tropical wave will increase cloudiness and widely scattered showers over the Central Mountain Range and the border area on Saturday..

Onamet said the showers will taper off Sunday, while the seasonably high temperatures will continue.
