Police dismantle dangerous gang that robbed homes in GSD and other parts of the country

Santo Domingo – Police agents belonging to the Central Investigation Directorate (DICRIM), together with the Public Prosecutor’s Office, arrested two men who were members of a dangerous gang dedicated to robbing homes in Greater Santo Domingo and other areas of the country.

The arrested men are Cristofer Fajardo, known as Kukete, 33, and Jordan Brito, the same age.

In another intervention, Cristian Rosa Crisóstomo, 37 years old, was apprehended in Higüey, La Altagracia province, after being caught in flagrante delicto together with those mentioned above perpetrating an apartment robbery. The first two managed to escape on that occasion.

According to the preliminary report, the alleged criminals face complaints from several other districts, including La Vega, Bonao, La Romana, and Higüey, as well as other provinces.

Additionally, through a recovery process, various stolen properties have been retrieved, including clothing, household appliances, and electronic devices, among other belongings taken by the criminals from their victims on different occasions.
