NY Senator Luis Sepúlveda condemns ICE raids and their impact on immigrant communities

New York.- A New York State Senator Luis Sepúlveda has strongly criticized the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids, denouncing their harsh execution under the Trump administration. He warned that such actions foster division, racial animosity, and social polarization, negatively affecting Latin American immigrants and other minority groups.
Representing New York’s 32nd District, Sepúlveda expressed deep concern over the raids’ impact on families, citing fear of separation, deportation, and job loss. A longtime advocate for immigrant rights, he has consistently supported limiting state and local cooperation with ICE, promoting a more humane immigration approach.
The senator highlighted that intensified raids are deterring many immigrants from attending work, particularly in essential industries like construction. He reaffirmed his commitment to defending vulnerable communities against policies he views as discriminatory and harmful.
Stop defending people who broke US immigration laws…
So then, what? Are countries suddenly not allowed to deport illegals anymore?
Karma
All nations have an absolute right to protect their borders and remove any individual that illegally enters their borders. There are some liberal representatives in certain areas of the US that do not believe in upholding our constitution or our federal laws regarding illegal aliens. The US is in the process now of locating and removing illegal aliens that have committed serious crimes in the US or their home country. The rest of the illegals will follow. I have no doubt that faced with the same crisis the DR would do the same.
