Air Europa honors top Dominican travel agencies for 2025 sales

Santo Domingo.- Spanish airline Air Europa recognized the ten Dominican travel agencies with the highest sales performance during 2025 at an exclusive event held at the Hotel Santo Domingo Bay.

The ceremony was led by Francisco “Paco” Pérez, Air Europa’s regional director for the Caribbean, alongside María José Hidalgo, CEO of the Globalia Group, and members of the airline’s commercial team in the Dominican Republic.

During the event, Pérez highlighted the importance of the Dominican market to the airline’s regional growth and praised the role of travel agencies in strengthening the company’s operations.

“Air Europa’s success in 2025 has been outstanding, and a fundamental pillar of this growth is the continued support we receive from all of you by placing your trust in our airline,” Pérez said, noting that the Dominican Republic has become one of the airline’s most dynamic and strategic markets in the Caribbean.

He added that the “Top Ten 2025” recognition aims to honor the work of travel agents for their contribution to the tourism industry and customer experience in a highly competitive environment.

The agencies recognized for their sales leadership were Travelwise, Viajes Alkasa, Grupo VDT, Rosedy Tours, Services Travel, Gestur, Turinter, Emely Tours, Incanto Travel, Olas del Caribe, and Sombrero Tours.

Through the initiative, Air Europa reaffirmed its commitment to the Dominican Republic and to strengthening distribution channels that connect the country with destinations across Europe.
