Celebrate at home or out? This is what the weather will be like for Mother’s Day weekend

For Sunday, the Dominican Institute of Meteorology ( INDOMET ) predicted overcast skies and a grayish appearance with a hot feeling in most provinces during the morning hours.

In the afternoon, some isolated or passing showers are expected, with a low possibility of thunderstorms and gusts of wind, in sectors of the northwest, the border area, and the Central Mountain Range, due to local effects and the drag of the southeast wind.

On Saturday, the anticyclonic system and Saharan dust particles will give the sky a dull and grayish appearance, with little rain in most provinces during the morning hours.

However, in the afternoon, some widely isolated showers are expected, with possible thunderstorms and gusty winds, towards sectors of the northwest, the border area, and the Central Mountain Range, due to the local effects of daytime and/or orographic heating, in addition to the southeast wind.

National District: Gray skies and hot in the afternoon.

Santo Domingo: Hot with gray skies in the afternoon.
