The PGA Tour and Puntacana Resort have officially announced the dates for the 2026 Corales Puntacana Championship, which will take place from July 13–19, 2026, at the renowned Corales Golf Course in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

The 2026 tournament marks the ninth edition of the Corales Puntacana Championship and forms part of the current agreement extending the event through 2027.

According to the PGA Tour announcement, the tournament will be included in the 2026 FedExCup Regular Season and FedExCup Playoffs schedule, featuring a more interconnected calendar designed to deliver an enhanced experience for golf fans worldwide.

“Through the Corales Puntacana Championship, we can continue showcasing the very best of the Dominican Republic and positioning Punta Cana as one of the Caribbean’s leading golf tourism destinations,” said Manuel Sajour, Executive Director of Marketing for Grupo Puntacana and Tournament Director in the Dominican Republic.

Supporting Community and Environmental Initiatives

Proceeds from the Corales Puntacana Championship help fund social and environmental projects led by the Puntacana Foundation. In addition, resources generated through the tournament’s Sponsor Value Program support a variety of community-focused initiatives developed by Grupo Puntacana.

These efforts have contributed to providing medical assistance to more than 150,000 people through public-private healthcare centers and have helped educate over 7,000 secondary school graduates and technical students through the organization’s educational programs.

About Corales Golf Course

Located within Puntacana Resort, Corales Golf Course is home to the first and only PGA Tour event held in the Dominican Republic. The championship course was designed by internationally acclaimed golf course architect Tom Fazio and officially opened in 2010.

Set along the dramatic coastline of the Caribbean Sea, Corales features towering cliffs, natural bays, ocean coves, inland lakes, and coral quarries. The 18-hole course includes six oceanfront holes and concludes with its famous three-hole stretch known as the “Devil’s Elbow,” widely regarded as one of the most spectacular and challenging finishing sequences in professional golf.

The Corales Puntacana Championship continues to strengthen Punta Cana’s reputation as a premier golf destination in the Caribbean while delivering significant economic, social, and environmental benefits to the Dominican Republic.
