Santo Domingo.- The Embassy of Israel in the Dominican Republic officially relaunched the Dominican-Israeli Chamber of Commerce, marking a new chapter in efforts to strengthen economic, commercial, technological, and cultural relations between the two countries.

During the event, the chamber’s new board of directors was introduced, bringing together business leaders with extensive experience in the financial, technology, and corporate sectors. The organization aims to serve as a platform for promoting investment opportunities, facilitating business partnerships, and fostering greater cooperation between Dominican and Israeli companies.

Raslan Abu Rukun emphasized that the chamber has the potential to become a key driver of bilateral economic relations by transforming opportunities into strategic alliances and sustainable growth. Meanwhile, newly appointed chamber president Ilan Dabara said the institution will act as a bridge for businesses seeking new opportunities, encouraging innovation, investment, and shared prosperity. The relaunch ceremony brought together government officials, business executives, and members of the Dominican and Israeli communities.
