Bávaro Adventure Park launches new Sacred River night experience in Punta Cana

Punta Cana.- Bávaro Adventure Park has launched a new nighttime tourism experience in Punta Cana called Sacred River at Night: Magic Mystic Memories, expanding the Dominican Republic’s growing adventure travel offerings.

Set within the park’s natural reserve, the experience transforms its underground river and jungle landscapes into an immersive night journey. Visitors explore rock formations, crystal-clear waters, and subterranean scenery illuminated by torchlight and artistic lighting, creating a mystical and cinematic atmosphere.

One of the main highlights is the Blue Lagoon Cenote, where underwater lighting enhances the natural beauty of the open-air cavern, offering a visually striking moment within the tour. The experience is designed to combine nature, adventure, and sensory immersion in a controlled and safe environment.

According to Bávaro Adventure Park Commercial Director Héctor Ureña, the new attraction strengthens Punta Cana’s positioning as a leading destination for experiential tourism, blending nature, hospitality, and entertainment for international visitors seeking unique nighttime activities.

After the river expedition, guests continue the experience with a cocktail hour featuring live DJ entertainment near a waterfall pool, followed by a surf-and-turf dinner served in the jungle. The night concludes with an open bar and a jungle-themed party.

The program also includes safety equipment, bilingual guides, and transportation from hotels in Punta Cana, ensuring accessibility and comfort for tourists.
