Sky High Dominicana opens new Aeronautical Training Center

Santo Domingo.- Sky High Dominicana has inaugurated a new Aeronautical Training Center aimed at enhancing the skills of pilots, cabin crew, technicians, and other airline personnel, reinforcing its commitment to operational safety, excellence, and the development of the aviation sector in the Dominican Republic and the Caribbean.

The facility, designed to accommodate up to 100 people, features six training classrooms, a conference room, administrative offices, and spaces for academic and technical activities. Powered by clean energy and expected to receive certifications from the Dominican Institute of Civil Aviation (IDAC), the center will offer initial and recurrent training programs, specialized workshops, refresher courses, and technical instruction for various aviation professionals.

Sky High Vice President Cesarina Beauchamps said continuous education is essential to maintaining safe and efficient operations while preparing future industry leaders. The airline noted that the initiative aligns with its long-term strategy focused on growth, innovation, professional development, and strengthening Dominican aviation through highly qualified human talent.
