Verón-Punta Cana.- Interior and Police Minister Faride Raful led the Security, Citizenship and Gender Roundtable in Verón-Punta Cana to coordinate strategies aimed at improving public safety and strengthening peaceful coexistence in the country’s leading tourist destination.
During the meeting, authorities established a roadmap to address key security challenges, including combating drug trafficking, strengthening migration control, protecting school environments, reducing noise pollution, and improving road safety. The discussions brought together representatives from the National Police, the General Directorate of Migration, the National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD), Digesett, COBA, and local government officials.
