Emilio Estefan praises Dominican Republic at Miches tourism event

Florida.- Music producer Emilio Estefan voiced his support for the Dominican Republic after participating in an international event in Florida promoting Miches as one of the country’s fastest-growing tourism destinations. The presentation was led by Tourism Minister David Collado as part of the government’s global tourism promotion strategy.

In a post on social media, Estefan said it was “a true pleasure” to meet with Collado and praised the Dominican Republic for its warm, welcoming people. He also highlighted the country’s continued growth and increasing international recognition as a premier Caribbean travel destination.

During the event, Collado presented Miches to executives from leading hotel chains, airlines and luxury tour operators, showcasing the destination’s tourism potential and investment opportunities. The initiative forms part of the Dominican Republic’s efforts to position Miches as a premier luxury tourism hub, attract more international visitors and strengthen the country’s leadership in the Caribbean travel market.
